As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, our historic property is undergoing a multi-million dollar, multi-phase renovation of all of our guest rooms and suites. During your visit, you may experience construction noise during the hours of 9 a.m.— 7 p.m. The complete renovation project is expected to be complete by November 2024.

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center will be hosting grand celebrations to ring in 2025, including a New Year's Day brunch in The Regency Room.

Options range from the large upscale Preceptor Omicron's New Year's Eve Gala, a formal Regency Room celebration and a more relaxed celebration in The Pine Room & 1882 Lobby Bar.

PRECEPTOR OMICRON'S NEW YEAR'S EVE GALA CELEBRATION

The gala features two live bands for your entertainment. The Kings, live in the Roanoke Ballroom, will be playing selections from the top 40's, beach music, & oldies. The Kings have been a part of the gala since its inception. The Roanoke Ballroom is the largest of the two rooms and seats approximately 600 people. The lighting is "concert style" with dimmed lights and colored spotlights highlighting the stage. The music is loud, inviting everyone to the dance floor.

The Uptown Trio, live in the Crystal Ballroom, will be playing a variety of jazz, swing, and oldies. This more intimate setting seats approximately 100 people. The lighting is warm and inviting highlighting a spacious dance floor. The dance floor allows more movement for ballroom style dancing.

Both ballrooms feature a count-down to the new year with a balloon drop at the midnight hour over the dance floor. Champagne is provided to each couple for a midnight champagne toast.

Tickets are available at the price of $260 per couple ($130 single).

  • Strolling buffet dinner for two

  • Seating in either ballroom

  • Live music & dancing

The popular Regency Room and Pine Room are accepting reservations throughout the holiday season for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Celebrate the season with offerings for all ages. Since 1939, The Regency Room has been a special holiday tradition and gathering place for generations of families and friends.

Spreading holiday cheer all season long, the vibrant grab and go space is the newest addition to the historic property’s food and beverage offerings. Located by the Grand Staircase near The Regency Room, STEAM Coffee + Eatery is open to the public daily at 6 a.m.
