In 2009, The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center was honored with four global awards within the Doubletree brand. More than 220 hotels across Doubletree were assessed and evaluated for each of these annual honors. The Hotel was presented with its sixth Pride Award (awarded to the Top 10 hotels across the brand) and received Awards of Excellence (based on customer scores) in Hospitality, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage. |

The Connie Award, named in honor of company founder Conrad Hilton, is presented to the top-performing hotel in the Doubletree product line with the highest overall hotel performance scores. |

The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center was chosen by the readers of Meetings South magazine as one of the top properties in the Southern United States, the Caribbean and the Islands in their annual Best of the South awards in 2008. Readers were asked to choose their favorite properties considering the quality of meeting space, guest rooms, staff, service, food and beverage, amenities, activities and value, and to choose properties they have used within the last two years. |

The Regency Room is pleased to announce it has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The Award of Excellence recognizes a commitment to a fine wine list, with a sufficient selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. In order to attain this recognition, restaurants must meet specific criteria with respect to the size of the wine list and its selections. |

The Dirona "Award of Excellence," established in 1992, recognizes restaurants that exemplify the highest quality dining experience - from ambiance, to the quality of food, wine, and service. Dirona's "Award of Excellence" is the only independent, anonymous restaurant inspection program in North America. To qualify, restaurants must pass a rigorous 75 point evaluation, conducted by a specially trained independent panel of qualified professionals and distinguished dining connoisseurs. |
